Increase Your Skills with our Intermediate Dressmaking Classes
Starts Tuesday 30th April 2019
***NEW LOCATION: LINTON VILLAGE HALL***
Take your dressmaking skills to the next level with our brand new Intermediate Dressmaking Course.
If you’re comfortable with basic dressmaking (you know how to size and measure, prepare patterns, resize patterns, how to lay our dressmaking patterns in the most cost effective way, choosing fabrics and basic construction including inserting zips, sleeves and pockets) then you’re ready for the next stage!
Our Intermediate Dressmaking course will cover trickier items such as jackets and coats, trousers and the more complicated dresses and tops.
There will still be lots of hints, tips and laughs along the way (although you may still be waiting a while for Andrea to make and bring in her famous/now infamous chocolate spelt biscuits). Whilst we are looking for our new permanent home, your classes will be shared with our beginners dressmakers – who are all wonderful 🙂
Our classes are every Tuesday 10am – 12.30pm in Linton Village Hall and are on:
Tuesday 30th April 2019
Tuesday 7th May 2019
Tuesday 14th May 2019
Tuesday 21st May 2019
Tuesday 28th May 2019
The next five week block will start on Tuesday 4th June 2019
If you’re booking online, please click the “Collect In Store” option at the checkout so that you don’t get charged postage and packing.
This is Michele finishing off her tunic in the Beginner’s Class; she is now ready for our Intermediate class. Will you be joining her?
