Our workshops are still going strong, spaces do go quickly though so book in advance to make sure you don’t miss out. Below are what we have planned for the rest of the year, but there will be a new programme out very soon for the New Year, so watch this space.
- Beginner’s Disappearing Nine Patch Lap Quilt Top (see pic above) – Thursday 23rd November is all sold out but we still have 3 spaces left for Saturday 25th November, 10am – 4pm £45 which includes lunch.
- Children’s Make a Christmas Gift – Saturday 2nd December, 10am – 4pm. This runs a little longer than usual to give parents a chance for a bit of Christmas shopping! We can’t tell you what they’ll be making so they can surprise you on Christmas Day 🙂 . It’s £45 for the day which includes all materials, use of sewing machines and tuition, drinks and free reign on the biscuit tin, but please bring a packed lunch along.
- Hawaiian Applique – Thursday 7th December is sold out but there are still spaces left for Saturday 9th. Applique was learned from the missionaries that went over to Hawaii in the 1820’s but the Hawaiian’s soon developed their own style and we have them to thank for this beautiful unique block . More of a technique day rather than a project day, you will learn how to design and make aHawaiian Applique block that you can repeat to make a whole quilt, or turn into a stunning cushion, tote bag, or… whatever you fancy. Running 10am – 4pm, £45 for the day which includes lunch.
Please email us if you’d like to reserve a space and to ask for the fabric list for any of the workshops.
